Rebecca Chambers

Rebecca Chambers is a former S.T.A.R.S member with her position being labeled as rare security and medic.
She is currently a BSAA advisor and a doctor of virology, and is working and researching at the Alexander Institute of Technology.

Rebecca graduated high school with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and because of her extensive knowledge at such a young age, she was offered a job by the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S) as Bravo team’s medic. S.T.A.R.S was a special division within the Raccoon City Police Department, focused on anti-terrorism attacks and other emergencies.She joined this unit in June of 1998, in the midst of the team investigating a series of attacks and murders happening within the Arklay Mountains. Rebecca and her team were sent out to this area on July 23rd where most would unfortunately meet their untimely demise, with the rookie being the only one left alive from Bravo. S.T.A.R.S Alpha team were sent out to rescue them, with Chris Redfield finding her in the Spencer Mansion within the Arklay Mountains. After meeting up, Rebecca, Chris, and Jill Valentine find that the Alpha team leader, Albert Wesker, was actually behind all of the S.T.A.R.S deaths that have happened that night, and even attempted to finish off Bravo by shooting Rebecca. Fortunately, her bullet proof vest saved her life, but this would forever stay stuck in her mind.
The mansion’s auto destruct was triggered after Wesker unleashed and was killed by a B.O.W, but Rebecca and her fellow officers made it out in time due to Alpha team’s helicopter pilot, Brad Vickers.
After this incident, Rebecca quit her job from the S.T.A.R.S team and moved out of Raccoon City a few months before the destruction hit. She continued her education and pursued a doctorate degree in virology, and was even invited by Chris to become the advisor for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) which was formed after the collapse of Raccoon City. She took him up on this offer and helped them with wiping out multiple virus outbreaks across the United States, with the A-Virus outbreak in New York being the one that has haunted her the most.

- Rebecca is continually haunted by nightmares from past events of her life.
—> Rebecca stirred in her slumber, darkness engulfing her like the comforter that was currently wrapped around her body. A few noises left chapped lips; audible groans and harsh breaths echoing through the emptiness of her apartment. She was alone, it was the middle of the night, and these two factors are what caused nightmares to develop. Nightmares of 1998, the train, the mansion, and her abduction and infection of the A-Virus. Images flashed past her eyes like a movie as she lay there helplessly, beads of sweat starting to form on her forehead before her body flung upwards, arms flailing outward to stop an infected Cerberus from mauling her face off.Her chest heaved as she struggled to breathe, slim digits roughly wiping away at her eyes before adjusting them to the darkness beyond her. It took her a few moments to realize she was home, in her bed, and she was 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦… but nothing could protect her from the nightmares she continually endured almost every night.𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 could save her.
